The brief from the agency was to re-design their office space with particular focus on reforming the way they work, a big part of this was to create a space where people could gather and meet and feel at home, a space that allowed for accidental meet ups, formal gatherings, casual working and planned celebrations.

This social space adjacent to the reception lobby which functions both as a physical manifestation of the brand, but also as a social space where an opportunity is provided to bump into people from all sectors within the broader business, a place where corridor conversations can happen and a place for the staff to call home.

The internal space were also reconfigured so that the building façade could be opened to allow in natural light, as well as access to a new outdoor deck.The design is a celebration of South African design, to reflect FCB as a leading creative agency not only in South Africa but also Africa.
