Siemens Healthineers Jeddah

Following the successful delivery of multiple projects in South Africa for the global healthcare leader, Siemens Healthineers, Design Partnership was appointed to develop the design and technical documentation for their new 1,000sqm office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project formed part of the company's continued expansion within the region andwas designed to support its hybrid ways of working while creating a workplace that embodies the Siemens Healthineers culture and values.

Inspired by Jeddah's unique natural and cultural landscape, the design concept, Healing Oasis, draws from the city's diverse ecosystems—including the Red Seacoastline, mangrove forests, desert landscapes, and urban fabric. These influences were translated into a series of workplace experiences that promote collaboration, creativity, and employee wellbeing while celebrating the richcharacter of the region.

Biophilic design principles, sustainable materials, and integrated technology were woven throughout the workplace, creating a human-centric environment that balances innovation with comfort. Dedicated collaboration spaces, wellness-focused areas, ergonomic furniture solutions, and culturally responsive design elements—including traditional Hijazi references, Arabic influences, and prayer facilities—ensure the space feels both globally connected and locally relevant.

Acoustic performance was a key consideration throughout the design, with acousticpanelling incorporated as both a functional and aesthetic feature. Technology integration was also central to the workplace strategy, developed in close collaboration with the Siemens Healthineers team to support a highly connected and flexible working environment.

One of the standout features of the project is the work café, which provided an opportunity to fully embrace the cultural identity of Jeddah through materiality, detailing, and spatial experience.

Rooted in local context and driven by global best practice, the new Jeddah office provides a dynamic environment that supports the future of healthcare innovation, empowers employees, and strengthens Siemens Healthineers’ growing presence in the region.
